He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Steinberg and Fanny Steinberg; and his brother Emanuel Steinberg. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward Steinberg (Diane), Phyllis Tibbils (Charlie) and Florine Pam Harber; his sister-in-law Ruthye Steinberg; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Steinberg, Rebecca Diana, Ronnie Steinberg, Bradley Tibbils, Michael Harber and Lisa Harber.
