He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Sands; his children, Mary Taylor (David) and Douglas P. Sands, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brooke Taylor and Jordan Taylor; and his brother Stuart F. Sands.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
