George Lachter Obituary
The memory of George Lachter of Owings Mills, Maryland, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sister Berta Prieto; and his parents, Simon Lachter and Esther Lachter. He is survived by: his wife Shoshana Halina Lachter; his daughters, Stefanie Lachter-Gusman (Seth Gusman) and Andrea Nicole Burkom; and his grandchildren, TJ Burkom, Sam Gusman, Casey Burkom and Jessica Gusman.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
