Jan Gerald Groupp Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jan Gerald Groupp of Owings Mills, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Jan Gerald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jan Gerald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Groupp and David Groupp. He is survived by: his brothers, Harry Groupp (Rachel) and Michael Groupp (Dawn); and his nephews, Wade Groupp, Dalton Groupp, Jacob Groupp and Andrew Kolts.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
