He is survived by: his father Larry Wayne Shortt; his stepmother Carol Shortt of Pasadena, Maryland; his close friend Haley Ann Winters; his children, Aria Lynn Shortt, Gyda Freya Shortt and Liam Paul Miller; and his siblings, Amy Nicole Bush, Megan Lynne Gutierrez, Rebecca Leigh Howard and Jacob Lee Shortt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
