He was predeceased by: his sister Zelda Engle; and his parents, Fannye Engle and Max Engle. He is survived by: his wife Sally Engle; his children, Debbie Levitt (Darrin) and Julye Frankland (Donny Felts); his grandchildren, Kelsey Levitt, Kaitlyn Frankland (Jack Clary) and Amanda Levitt; and his sister Deanna Wertz. He is also survived by family, he leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
