He was predeceased by: his parents, Myshka Lerer and Israel Lerer. He is survived by: his wife Lyubov Lerer; his children, Igor Lerer (Tatiana) and Olga Peremyshlenko (Andrew); his grandchildren, Anna Peremyshlenko and Alex Peremyshlenko; and his sister Tomila Zhovno.
