We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 88, Polina Cherkansky of Owings Mills, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Polina leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her husband Mikhail Cherkansky; her children, Alexandr Cherkansky (Larisa) and Irina Reznikov (Lonnie Davidson); her grandchildren, Lucy (Kirill), Eugin (Katya), Zarina and Alison; and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Gabby, Emma, Zoe and Liv. She is also survived by marriage with the love of her life.
