Richard Franklin Stanton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Franklin Stanton of Owings Mills, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Sylvester Stanton and Esther Katherine Stanton. He is survived by: his wife Miriam "Mim" Edith Stanton; his stepsons, Robert Barry Rund (Julie), Michael Bruce Rund (Joanne) and James Philip Rund (Karen); his grandchildren, Christopher Rund (Holly), Melanie Kontz (Colton), Leanne Harris (Jimmy), Philip Rund, Clayton Rund (Camille) and Will Rund; his great grandchildren, Summer, Leo, Jasper, Levi, Emmett, Lexi, Lynnette and Harper; and his siblings, Ronald Stanton (Pat) and Linda Upole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Richard's family requests that donations be made in his memory to Deer Park Bible Church (1950 Deer Park Road, Finksburg, MD 21048).
