Wayman Wendell Cheatham Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayman Wendell Cheatham (Owings Mills, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Elizabeth Cheatham and William Lee Cheatham; and his siblings, William Jr. (Bill), Augustus (Gus) and Anna Belle Cheatham Timpson (Wendell).
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Azora Cheatham; his sons, Adam (MaryBeth), Joseph (Lorice) and Jonathan; and his siblings, Merle, Oliver (Beverly), Donald (Ann) and Charles (Reather). He is also survived by grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a broad circle of friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vaughn Greene Funeral Services (8728 Liberty Rd, Randallstown, MD 21133). A reception will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Southern Asian Seventh-Day Adventist Church. A burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery (11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
