Mary leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mary will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Potter and Esther Potter; her significant other Carl W. Beatty; and her son Steven. She is survived by: her children, Carl Beatty III and Bridgette Phelps; and her daughter-in-law Rose Beatty. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and countless cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvert Grace Community Church (9870 Old Solomons Island Rd, Owings, MD 20736).
