She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joseph "Papa Joe", Janice Bahen and Frederick (Diehlmann); and her pet Pumpkin "Punk". She is survived by: her parents, Patrick S. Bahen and Mary Diehlmann Smith; her husband Steve; her brother Joseph Bahen; her sister-in-law Sara; her nephew Joseph Wallace; her sister Allison Bahen; her grandmother Constance Diehlmann; and her aunts and uncles, Michael Bahen (Dawn), Timothy Bahen, Rick Diehlmann, Lisa Durst (Mike Owings), Deborah Diehlmann (Joe Gegor) and Tonia Linke (Regan).
The family kindly requests that, instead of sending flowers, donations be made in Nicole's memory to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
