She was predeceased by: her husband John Calvin Sales. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Bernese Carter (Perry) and Barbara Yvonne Sales Chism; her grandsons, Carl Devell Chism, Jr., Cameron Joseph Chism (Zuleima), Kyle Perry Carter and Evan John Carter; her great grandchildren, Camille Rose Chism, Callier Delanie Chism, Cairo Rye Chism, Camari Devaughn Chism, Cameron Joseph Chism Jr., Kelly Monae'Carter and Kelvyn Maxwell Carter; Carl D. Chism, Sr. and Dania M. Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
