He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerhard Otto and Edith Ingeburg Gelfert; and his brother Gerhard Michael Gelfert. He is survived by : his daughters, Anastasia Elizabeth Freeman, Emily Kathleen Seals, Katie Beth Gelfert and Julie Alexandra Good; his grandchildren, Nathan Alexander Freeman, Grace Elizabeth Freeman and Cara Isabel Seals; his great grandchild Kadan Anne Freeman; his wife Lesli "Cricket" Elizabeth Scott; and his nieces, Nicole Jennifer Gelfert and Michelle Ann Gelfert.
