It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Hobbs Jr. of Pasadena, Maryland, who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bernard Hobbs Sr. and Catherine Marie Hobbs; and his siblings, Charles Hobbs, Virginia Harry and Lillian Weckesser.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Kines Hobbs; his children, Tom Hobbs (Lisa) and Laurie Fowler (Steve); his grandchildren, Kyle Fowler (Catherine), Kelsie Ruhling (Shawn) and Erin Hobbs; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Kannon, Griffey Ruhling and Hugo Fowler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122, as a fitting tribute to a life well-lived and a testament to Arthur's spirit of giving and care for others.
