It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Broadus Warren Merritt Jr. (Pasadena, Maryland), who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Broadus, Sr. Merritt; his daughter Victoria Merritt; his stepchildren, Darnelle Mattucci, Victoria Mattucci and Corina Poore; his stepgrandson Johnny Morris; and his siblings, James Merritt and Janice Rumenap.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Merritt; his children, Michael Merritt and Consetta Merritt; his stepson David Mattucci; and his grandchildren, Jamie Merritt, Shelby Merritt, Brodi Merritt, Matthew Sharff, Skye Kraegar and Karligh. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
