We announce the death of David McNamara of Pasadena, Maryland, born in Easton, Maryland, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 71. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. McNamara Sr. and Helen J. Parker; his stepfather Tom Parker, Sr.; and his brothers, James G. McNamara, Jr. and Dennis L. McNamara.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy McNamara (Milling); his son Sean David McNamara; and his niece Kelly McNamara Hipp. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in David's name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, honoring his battle with the condition and the legacy he leaves behind.
