She was predeceased by : her parents, John Calvin Bayne and Lillie May Bayne; her husband Carl Eugene Covert; her sons, Richard M. Covert and Carl D. Covert; her siblings, Calvin Bayne and Lillian Jordan; and her daughter-in-law Gladys Covert.

She is survived by : her daughter-in-law Patricia Covert; and her friends, John Mason and Debbie Lurz. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5829 Ritchie Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21225).
