It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Calvert (Pasadena, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father George Theodore; and her siblings, Helen Pickett, Harry Theodore, Mary Arndt and Pauline Carter-Winchester.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon E. Calvert, Sr.; her mother Georgia Theodore; her brother Pete Theodore (Fotini); her children, Paul Calvert, Vernon Calvert, Jr. (Bonnie), Cynthia Williams and Jamie Calvert; her granddaughter Alexis Williams; and her nieces, Donna Carter and Lucy Jarrells.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home (3111 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
