She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Horton, Sr.; her son John R. Horton, Jr.; and her parents, Richard Shifflett and Carrie Shifflett. She is survived by: her children, Douglas W. Horton (Amy Kelbel), Karen D. Horton, Robin L. Horton, David K. Horton and Vernon C. Horton (Bobbie); and her brother Larry Shifflett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Family Owned and Operated McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home (3204 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
