He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Coughlin, and Robert Coughlin, Sr.; and his brother Michael A. Coughlin. He is survived by: his wife Donna Kelley Coughlin; his daughter Michele; his granddaughters, Kayla and Alyssa (Byron); his sister Mary Runk (David); and his nephew Nathan (Huldah).
