He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert D. Browning and Anne Browning (Gray); his grandchild Robbie; his wife Susan Gowland; his children, Jennifer Thomas (Mitchell) and Robert Browning (Kyla); and his grandchildren, Robert, Evie Browning, Ryan, Madison Thomas and Judson Browning Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to CRAB (Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating- online "dedicate this gift") or The Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
