He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Saxon; and his siblings, Diane Dimert and Johnny Saxon. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Saxon; his children, Samuel Garland Saxon, Jr., Michael Joseph Saxon and Holly Jennifer Jenkins; his siblings, Daniel Warren Saxon, Jaqueline Pitt, Jane Rorer and William Saxon; and his grandchildren, Tyler Van Dyke, Ashley Jenkins, Sarah Jenkins, Austin Jenkins, Joseph Saxon, Logan Saxon and Oliver Saxon.
