He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Squires, Sr. and Ida May Squires (Jenkins); and his siblings, Leonard Squires, Jr., Elsie Eckart (Squires) and Ethel King (Squires).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lea Squires (Countess); his children, William Franklin Squires, Jr. (Robynn Squires) and Karen Lynn Bowman (Earl Bowman); his grandchildren, Kelsey Lennon (Collin Lennon), Kyle Squires (Breanne Squires) and Kayla Bowman; his great grandchildren, Lucille Lennon and Bodie Squires; and his brother Grafton Squires (Janice Squires).
