He is survived by: his wife Carla Woody; his daughters, Kimberly Groves (Jerry) and Melissa Walker (David); his grandchildren, Lennon Groves, Kendall Groves, Houston Walker, Madeline Walker, Alivia Walker and Aleia Walker; and his siblings, Joseph Woody and Elmira Cascio (Mike).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the T Harris Captain's Scholarship at Carteret Community College in memory of Bill's dear friend and captain, Tom Harris ("T"), whose life was tragically lost in October.
