She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Roland Compton (Sonny); her brothers, Harold and Richard Ridge; her children, Ruth Elizabeth (Jim Hall), Cheryl Ann and Buddy (Donna Westcoat); her grandchildren, Jim (Lauren Kazmarek), Christopher (Jessica Kazmarek), Kristy Lovett and Brandon; and her father Harold Ridge. She was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
