She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Stuart; and her close friend Deborah Lambert. She is survived by: her mother Betty Stuart; her husband Samuel VanCulin; her sons, Richard Burns, Scott Chism and Lee VanCulin (Tammy King-Toft); her grandchildren, Abigail, Caroline, Jacob, Brock, Trent and Rachel; her sisters, Raylene Crosse, Marlene Townsend and Lisa McCartan; and her friends, Maralyn, Patsy, Connie, Nina and Donna. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Janes Church (213 N Walnut St, Rising Sun, MD 21911). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the Janes Christian Academy in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.
