She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar William, Sr. and Kathryn Mae Anderson Patrick; and her brothers, Sonny Waddell and Delmar Patrick, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Michael Ackinson; her daughter Kathy Strianese; her stepdaughter Lavinia Upchurch; and her brother Kenneth Patrick. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
