He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Bitner Sr. and Grace Marie Bitner (Jackson); and his brothers-in-law, Norman Hasson Jr. of Rising Sun, MD and Jim Evans of Louisville, KY.. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Ellen Hasson (Bobbi); his children, Shelby Lynn Bowser (John) of North East, MD and David Wayne Bitner (Amanda) of Lititz, PA; his grandchildren, Alex, Aubrey, Nathan and Hannah; his siblings, Gary Bitner (Debbie) of Rockledge, FL, Debbie Barton (Jim) of Colora, MD, Donna Evans of Louisville, KY, Mike Bitner (Marie) of Port Deposit, MD, Leo Bitner (CJ) of Conowingo, MD, Dennis Bitner (Renee) of Perryville, MD, Beth Bitner of Colora, MD and Pat Knight of Colora, MD; and his sister-in-law Susan Hasson of Rising Sun, MD. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.
