He was predeceased by: his wife Mary T. Kimtis; his parents, Charles Kimtis and Ursula Kimtis; and his brothers, Charles and Edmund Kimtis.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Friedrich (Gerhard) of Phoenix Maryland, Donald W. Kimtis Jr. (Beth) of New London, NH and Maureen T. LaRoche of Westminster, MA; his grandchildren, Kiley Friedrich (Sean), Patrick LaRoche Christian (Beca) and Meghan Kimtis; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Brynley, Grayson Murphy and Londyn LaRoche.
