She was predeceased by: her husband George S. Scheer; her brother Neil T. Levitt; and her parents, Henry Levitt and Cecilia Levitt. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Scheer and Daniel Scheer (Diana); her grandchildren, Rachel Penna-Scheer, Maya Penna-Scheer (Daniel Christie) and Nathan Scheer; her sister-in-law Ellen Levitt; and her close friend Dale Grossblatt.
