With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ira Rutkow (Pikesville, Maryland), born in Newark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ira shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ira farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Lainie and Eric; his children-in-law, Adam Spira and Elizabeth Herman; and his grandsons, Alex Spira and Benjamin Rutkow.
