With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Mainzer Sherman of Pikesville, Maryland, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Meta Mainzer and Fritz Mainzer. She is survived by : her husband Dr. Michael L. Sherman; her children, Randi Abramson (Larry), Steven Sherman (Jamie) and Dr. Julie Whitney (Jason); and her grandchildren, Zachary, Carly Abramson, Wyatt, Dex, Scarlett Sherman, Justin, Samantha and Tyler Whitney.
