He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Benus and Moris Benus; and his brother David Benus. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Benus; his children, Mia Blecher (Lee) and Avi Benus (Liba); his sister Sarah Lehnhoff; his grandchildren, Naomi Benus, Moby Benus, Devora Benus, Joshua Benus, Dara Blecher and Shai Blecher; his niece Marcie Lehnhoff; and his nephew Nathan Lehnhoff (Brittany).
