We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, at the age of 83, Jean Platt of Pikesville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sarah Tinanoff and Israel Tinanoff. She is survived by : her husband Alan Platt; her sons, Bruce Platt (Wendy) and Danny Platt (Elizabeth); her brother Norman Tinanoff (Susan); her sister-in-law Etta Weitzman (late Milton); her grandchildren, Jori Platt, Lauren Platt, Ryan Platt, George Clift (Erin), Joseph Clift (Jody McDaniel) and Jeremiah Clift (Kate); her great grandchildren, Landon Cooley, Damion Clift, Addison McDaniel, Ryleigh, Ainsley and Trey Clift; and her friend Mahjong.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery (318 Berrymans Ln, Reisterstown, MD 21136).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, 7401 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208.
