He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Monk" Savage and Irene Savage; his brothers, Donald Savage, Ronald Savage and Bruce Savage; and his son Zack Savage.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Savage; his children, Gary Lee Savage, Mary E. Savage (Brent Coward) and Allan Lee Savage (Dawn Savage); his stepdaughter Jamie L. Johnson (Bryan Johnson); and his sisters, Charlotte Sipe and Joyce Bradshaw (Robert). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
