With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Dwork of Pikesville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Dwork; her parents, Sue Plavnick and Max Plavnick; and her sister-in-law Martina Plavnick. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Devorah (Ilene) and Robert Dwork; her brother Paul Plavnick; and her grandchildren, Shira Devorah, Tamar Rosen (Zack), Ari Devorah (Hale) and Aryeh Isaacs.
