He was predeceased by: his son Samuel J. Baum; his siblings, Jerome Baum and Mildred Temkin (Paul); and his parents, Bella Baum and Sam Baum.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Baum; his children, Dennis R. Brown (Donna), Gerri Baum and Renee Moore; his sister Roberta Crespi (late Sam); his grandchildren, Mira Baum, Stacy Laughlin (Neil) and Ilene Walters (Mark); and his great grandchildren, Asher Laughlin, Ronan Laughlin, Aaron Moyse, Iris Walters and Eli Walters. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
