She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Raphael Nigrin; her sister Sonia Shalom; and her parents, Anna Cholom and Moise Cholom. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Gilbert (Geoffrey) and Albert Nigrin (Lisi); her grandchildren, Katie Slovon (Rob Johnson), Jamie Slovon, Jesse Nigrin (Samantha Williams), Cory Nigrin and Ethan Nigrin; and her great grandchild Koen Johnson.
