Michael leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Michael’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Alexis Michael Anikeeff and Josephine W. Obroslinski Anikeeff; and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his significant other Laurie Stroope; and his sister Pamela T. Anikeeff of Washington, DC. He is also survived by extended family, and many friends.

A contribution in Mike's memory can be made to the Anikeeff Prize at Johns Hopkins University to encourage socially responsible real estate development.
