Michael touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Michael’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving Applefeld and Roslyn Applefeld; his wife Susan; his children, David Applefeld (Cathy) and Cathy Applefeld Olson (Brent); his grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan Applefeld, Olivia and Jacqueline Olson; and his sister Barbara Goldman (Mark).
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
