He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Sandler; his daughter Sara Sandler; his sister Melissa Brezner; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Millstone (Jody), Sam Millstone (Jennifer) and Richard Mandy.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Michael Sandler may be directed to support the Children's Heart Program at the University of Maryland Medical System Foundation.
