He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Taylor and Myrtle Taylor; and his sons, Matthew Taylor and George "Rocky" Taylor, III. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Taylor; and his children, Tami Stambaugh (Denny) of Greenbackville, VA, Lee Ward (Theresa) of Marion Station, MD, Christopher Taylor (Abigail) of Florida, David Ward of Greenbackville, VA and Amy Hughes (Chris) of Willards, MD. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holloway Funeral Home (107 Vine St, Pocomoke City, MD 21851). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Living Waters Inspiration Church of God, 2226 Bypass Road, Pocomoke City, MD.
