We are sad to announce that, on January 16, 2026, at the age of 86, Lois Bates Becker (Pocomoke City, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bates and Omega Bates; her siblings, Roy B. Bates and Judy Crider; her nephew John Crider; and her granddaughter Mary Kate Brittingham.
She is survived by: her son Paul M. Becker; her daughter-in-law Lori; her daughter Jo Ella Brittingham; her son-in-law Tom; her grandchildren, Logan Becker, Jordan Becker (Kelsey), Peyton Becker, Annah Fox (Billy), Noah Brittingham and Eli Brittingham; her great grandchildren, Arizona Becker, Brooks Becker and Liam Fox; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Penny, Jeanni, Mekala, Kellynn, Hailey, Charlotte, Roy, Fred, Ryan, Jaden, Dorian, Jackson and Ezriel.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Lois' memory to go to their local library, check out a book, and read it. If you would like to give a monetary donation, please contribute to your favorite charity.
