We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Peggy D. Johnson (Pocomoke City, Maryland), born in Willards, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Dennis and Lillian Dennis; and her brother Robert Dennis (Bob). She is survived by: her husband Grover Johnson Jr.; her children, Lisa Waldrop (Jim) of New Church, VA, Amy Johnson (Rodney Amick) of Burlington, NC and Grover Johnson III of Delmar, MD; her grandsons, Paul Rice, Jr. (Camisha Justice) of Berlin, MD and Andrew Sperling; her brother William Dennis (Nancy) of Salisbury, MD; and her pet Honey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holloway Funeral Home- Pocomoke City (107 Vine St, Pocomoke City, MD 21851). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holloway Funeral Home (107 Vine St, Pocomoke City, MD 21851).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or your local Humane Society, reflecting Peggy's love for children and animals alike.
