She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Beatrice and Roger St. George Proctor; her husband John L. Ashby; and her son Mark E. Ashby. She is survived by: her children, Tanya Krieger (Larry), Dawn Caldwell and Eric Ashby-Bey (Lailah). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
