She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hooks and Bernice Hooks. She is survived by: her husband Jason; her sons, Tyler and Austin Simms; her sisters, Kimberley Butler (Nate) and Kerri Kans (Doug); and her siblings' children, Darius Butler (Kacie), Dominic Butler, Autumn Kans and Kailynn Pennell.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home (7 Industrial Park Dr, Waldorf, MD 20602). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
