He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Johnson and Dave Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Johnson; his children, Jennifer (Alex), Harold David Johnson IV (Danielle), Kelley (Austin) and Steven; his grandchildren, Cayden, Wesley, Alexa, Jocelyn, Mason and Eva; and his siblings, Daniel, Dayle, Derrick (Tracey), Dean (Jean) and Deanna (David).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Poolesville United Methodist Church (17815 Elgin Rd, Poolesville, MD 20837).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Montgomery Hospice Casey House and/or the Alzheimer's Association, in gratitude for the care and support provided to individuals and families facing serious illness and Alzheimer's disease.
