It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Barnes III of Port Deposit, Maryland, who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Albert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Albert. Though Albert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Barnes, II and Elota Davis Barnes Phipps; and his sisters, Linda Barnes Turner and Bea Barnes-Yost. He is survived by: his wife Donna W. Barnes; his children, Aaron R. Neely, Donna L. Bannon, Tammy Willis and Joy Barnes Clark; and his siblings, William Barnes (Billy), Barbara Buzzuro and Dora Roesler. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
