He was predeceased by : his brothers, Laurie and Robert; and his pets, Tuffy, Cristie and Blossom.

He is survived by : his wife Marian; and his children, Brad Holtz (Barbara), Ron Holtz (Marie Riccio), Richard Goozh (Rebecca Winsor), Cynthia Brown (Christopher), Diane Astley (Randy Montoya) and Juliet Holtzman (William). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
